Fleur d’Acadie (Acadian Fleur)

$ 145.00

This design celebrates the rich Acadian heritage of Nova Scotia. The red, white, and blue colours and the golden star are inspired by the Acadian flag, a symbol of the Acadian people whose history in Atlantic Canada stretches back more than 400 years.

Acadians are descendants of the early French settlers who established communities throughout what is now Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and parts of Quebec. Despite periods of hardship and displacement, Acadian culture has endured and continues to be an important part of Nova Scotia’s identity today.

The central fleur-de-lis, a traditional French symbol, is surrounded by vibrant floral motifs that reflect the resilience, creativity, and enduring spirit of Acadian communities.
